Founder, Glass Machine Sales

Hal Strait began his career with Ford Motor Company’s glass division, in both process engineering and production roles. After 20 years with Ford, he left to take on positions in engineering and design of glass machinery, and ultimately, as European sales manager for a North American glass equipment supplier.

In 2011 Hal became an independent agent and started his own firm, Glass Machine Sales (GMS).

With more than 35 years working in the glass industry, Hal brings extensive technical knowledge to each customer and project. His engineering degree and business education (MBA), combined with working knowledge of a wide-range of processing equipment, provides customers with comprehensive manufacturing solutions.

Approaching over a decade in business, GMS continues to expand its range of innovative glass processing equipment offerings to meet customer needs worldwide.
